Abstract
The weight/length relationships were compared in crayfish caught during the course of the year. There appears a strong dimorphism in the bodily dimensions in mature crayfish. There are large differences in the condition index in crayfish in different lakes and in different seasons. The crayfish increase their relative weights rapidly in early summer, but in August there is a dip in their condition due to the molting event. The water temperatures in summer seem to greatly affect the condition of crayfish.
