Epizootiology of the crayfish plague (Aphanomycosis) in Spain

Abstract
In the past few years, the crayfish plague has shown a disturbing increase in incidence, causing moderate to severe mortality in different Spanish regions. The plague has decimated and even caused extinction of the crayfish populations in many rivers and water masses of the Iberian Peninsula.
