Abstract
The population of crayfishes (Atlanto-astacus pallipes pallipes) was computed by two statistic methods. The both results are near, between 16,500 – 21,200 females and 15,500 – 18,400 males per hectare. The sex ratio is balanced. The rate weight/size is more important with the males than with the females . 2% of the animals are affected by the plague, 5% by the rust-disease and about 10% are mutilated. The legal size of catching (90 mm) is rarely reached (about 0.5%). It was impossible to appreciate the rate of the growth.
