Present situation of exotic species of crayfish introduced into Spanish continental waters

Abstract
This paper is a short description of the introduction of various species of crayfish into Spanish waters and the results of these implantations at the present time. Astacology has acquired a certain importance in Spain only very recently and this paper contains merely general information on dates, quantities and sizes. Some indications of production and commercial importance are given. In future years detailed information on the different aspects of several topics will be available.
