Abstract

The content and distribution of the total organic substances, lipids, sterols, carotenoides, amino acids and microelements, was studied in organs and tissues of the Dniester long-clawed crayfish of different age groups, and also in its eggs and larvae. Age and sex differences are shown in the content and accumulation of many biochemical components in the hepatopancreas and in some cases, the carapace. The information obtained is of interest for elaboration of biotechniques for crayfish and the cultivation of other hybrobionts in our country.
