Freshwater crayfish breeding in Basse-Normandie
Published Online: 6/1/2020
Abstract
After a three-year monitoring of a generation of crayfish the formation ofthreesubgroups was brought to light, from the distribution of their sizes. The group with a low growth was called 'sleeping' and the other with a high growth 'leading'. This development gap was not imputed to a genetic heterogeneousness, but to differences of behaviour. When tried out and carried on three months on a young population, a preventive homeopathic treatment improved the survival rate.
