Abstract
Specimens of the two crayfish species Astacus astacus and Astacus leptodactylus were collected with traps in five sites of north-western and southern Poland and examined for branchiobdellidan worms. The crayfish yielded the following branchiobdellidans: Branchiobdella balcanica sketi, B. hexodonta, B. kozarovi, B. parasita, and B. pentodonta. The species B. balcanica sketi and B. kozarovi constitute new records for the Polish fauna. Data on the frequency and intensity of branchiobdellidan occurrence on the crayfish species was recorded.
