Abstract

Over 800 papers have now appeared in the proceedings Freshwater Crayfish, directly resulting from the 16 symposia so far organised by the International Association of Astacology from 1972– 2006. Details of these volumes are given below, followed by an alphabetical list of authors and their papers. Note that volumes 1 – 9 were originally denoted by Roman numerals, and volume 10 had both Roman and Arabic numerals. The 4th Abrahamsson Memorial Lecture given at the 8th IAA Symposium was never submitted for publication. The proceedings of the 8th symposium held in 1990 were not published until 1995 due to the untimely death of one of the editors. Volumes 14 and 15 are currently available only in electronic format, but they will be produced in hard copy before long. Some of the earlier volumes (1 – 3) are available in electronic format on the IAA website, and eventually the society hopes to have all the volumes accessible in this format.
