Published Online:
Abstract
Procambarus clarkii is native to the southern United States and northern Mexico. Reproductive populations have been noted in the western United States, Hawaii, and Japan. This paper updates the status of those introductions and reports new introductions in Africa (Kenya, Sudan, and Uganda), Central America (Costa Rica and Nicaragua -- suspected but not confirmed), and Europe (Spain).
